HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Even Hollywood party poster girl Lindsay Lohan says Charlie Sheen was probably due for a stint in rehab.

Sheen checked himself into an undisclosed facility Friday after what was reportedly an epic bender that went on for a couple of days.

Sources told TMZ.com that Lohan, a high-profile veteran of the rehab experience herself, expressed concern to her friends about Sheen and said he had "obvious signs of addiction."

TMZ said Saturday that Lohan expressed confidence her fellow actor could get back on track if, sources said, he "commits himself to sobriety" and recognizes "he needs to surround himself with positive, sober people."
