Day leads Snedeker by one at Boston   ( Sports News)

NORTON, Mass., Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Jason Day moved one stroke ahead of Brandt Snedeker Sunday after three rounds of the Deutsche Bank Championship, firing a 5-under-par 66.
Day and Snedeker came into Sunday knotted for first place, but Snedeker landed his second shot at the 18th hole into a hazard short of the green, taking a one-stroke penalty on the play.
He then chipped in to finish the 18th with a par, ending the round one shot behind the Australian and settling for a 4-under 67 at the TPC Boston course.
Day, meanwhile, birdied the final hole, tying the 54-hole tournament record at 17-under 196, while Snedeker ended at 16-under 197 as the Hurricane Earl-delayed tournament headed into a Labor Day finish.
Luke Donald shot a 66 to claim sole possession of third place at 15-under 198.
Defending champ Steve Stricker carded a 67 Sunday to forge a fourth-place tie with Charley Hoffman (69) at 13-under 200.
