CHICAGO, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Grain futures closed mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade with the dollar index rising 1.28 percent.
Corn was up 13 1/4 to up 13 3/4, soybeans were up 17 1/4 to up 17 1/2, wheat was off 2 1/2 to off 3 3/4 and oats were off 3 1/2 to off 3 3/4.
Corn futures rose as Argentina's Agriculture Ministry left its monthly planting estimate of 4 million hectares unchanged. Wheat futures dropped as Argentina raised its wheat crop estimate to 12.5 million metric tons, up by half a million metric tons. In soybeans, Argentina said plantings could reach a record 18.7 million hectares in production.

Corn: Dec. 5.28 1/4, up 13 1/4; Mar 5.43, up 13 3/4; May 5.50 3/4, up 13 1/2; Jul 5.44 1/2, up 13 3/4.
Soybeans: Jan 12.39, up 17 1/2; Mar 12.46 1/4, up 17 1/2; May 12.46 1/4, up 17 1/4; Jul 12.48, up 17 1/4.
Wheat: Dec 6.42, off 3 1/2; Mar 6.80 3/4, off 3 3/4; May 7.05 1/2, off 3 3/4; Jul 7.17 3/4, off 2 1/2.
Oats: Dec 3.47 1/2, off 3 1/2; Mar 3.60, off 3 3/4; May 3.65 3/4, off 3 3/4; Jul 3.71, off 3 3/4.
